"Ever since I subscribed to your site the daily reminders are the only thing I read apart from email and the NY Times headlines and weather. I am hugely critical of most self-help information, but this is not what your site is. I save 1 in 2 of these and have kept a library folder. They are intelligent, concise, relevant and are pitched at exactly the right level." -Martin Chalk, CEO, Balance Water

Wills for Blended Families

When you’re a parent of a blended family, you should take particular care in crafting your will. To be sure your loved ones are taken care of as you wish, be sure your will is very clear as to your intentions. Also, keep your spouse’s will in mind as well. If you each have children from previous relationships and you also have children together, you’ll want to know everyone is provided for as you see fit in the case of your death (or both of your deaths). Also, as you age, and your children have children, and possibly stepchildren, of their own, you’ll want to be sure your will includes (or excludes) everyone as you intend.
