Question:Please give me some tips on what should I do to attract/create customers to AVON?

Answer:

You can start with the people you know, friends and family. I had three aunts who did Avon, and that's what they would do. They'd bring the catalogs to family events, and people could take and pass them along.

Do you have a local paper that lets you place a free ad? Try to get the word out wherever you can. Post a note in the supermarket or community center... print it on pretty paper or find some clip art on the web you can use to jazz it up and call attention. Maybe even do a postcard mailing to friends and family letting them know you have AVON products and would be happy to tell them about it.

Hi, Sonyaissa

I have to imagine AVON has tons of this information available to help their agents. Have you asked? You might want to understand what support they have and what they might already be doing in your area, like local advertising or sponsoring events.

The general rules of thumb with marketing are to know your target market and where they hang out. If it's busy working moms, then you might have to reach them when they have some down time.

Think about your family and friends and neighbors who might like AVON products. Maybe you can have a little gathering in your home or at a local park or community room.

AVON products are well known for their quality and for their reasonable price, so you have some advantage there. Think about things you can do seasonally that might make it easier to get people interested, like selling the Skin So Soft product in the summer when it helps keep bugs to a minimum and putting a few products together in a nice basket or bag with a ribbon and make it a holiday or hostess gift.

Like with anything else, it will take some time to build relationships and find new customers, but, like I say I think AVON does a fairly good job of helping their representatives with the materials they provide.

Good luck!
