When will we see a bill from our daughter's Stafford Loan?
She started this fall and we have received confirmation from Sallie Mae but we have not seen a bill yet. We wanted to pay the interest while she was in school.
I called them. Finally had a moment where I could sit on hold for awhile. If you choose to pay the interest while in school then they bill you quarterly so the bill should arrive any day now.
The funds have made it's way to her school. I'll give them a call with my daughter the next time we see her. Thanks!
Have the funds been distributed yet? If so, you should be getting a statement pretty soon. Call Sallie Mae just in case because and ask them how you can start paying the interest now. They won't necessarily send you a "bill" while your daughter is still in school since most people don't start paying until after college is completed.
