Quit Smoking, Sen. Obama!

According to his physical report, Illinois senator Barack Obama is the picture of health. His blood pressure is low at 90/60. His cholesterol is at an average, healthy level of 173. His heart rate is low, which shows he exercises. Because he exercises, his body fat is low and his weight is healthy. However, he’s been an “intermittent” smoker throughout his life. Currently, Obama is using Nicorette gum to quit smoking and “is having success.”

Obama’s off-and-on smoking throughout his life puts him at risk for cardiovascular disease. Doctors recommend he have these risk factors checked every couple of years.
