I have been helping people all my life. It's so simple and so rewarding. You just need a giving heart. I've coordinated groups foe people with AIDS and cancer.People in need, need to be listened and know that they are important to someone else. My last service was through the Internet. I chatted every single day with a quadriplegic lady in Texas (from my home in Italy). She passed away a year ago, one month after I had met her in person in my trip to the US. I miss her and I miss being of help. Does anyone have any idea how I can communicate with somebody in need???

Hi! I am someone in need of a good friend or two. And could certainly use some words of wisdom and comforting advise. I recently lost my job (working at this company for 5 years). I thought the people I worked with were my friends, I have found out differently which does hurt. They backstabbed me, and down right lied to get me terminated, a nightmare to say the least. How does one deal with that? But mostly why do people do things like that to someone, I would never do that to anyone. And I need advise as to why people do things like this, to understand what makes them this way--not to mention they called themselves "so called Christians". I do hope to hear from you or anyone and I Thank You for listening!
