"I wish I had enough words to express what your book has done for me. Thank you over and over. It's like a guidebook to life. When I don't remember how to navigate, or even that I can, it reminds me. What a precious gift."-Deborah

A Feminine Touch

Flowers—check. Candlelight—got it. Guy on bended knee—you could wait for it, but why? If you are a woman ready to marry and you know your significant other is in it for the long haul, don’t wait for him to ask. Plan a proposal all your own!

We know, we know…you’ve been dreaming about that romantic day. But it doesn’t need to be any less romantic just because you do the asking. And if you’re worried he won’t be into it, rest easy—a Korbel Champagne survey reveals that men are extremely comfortable with women taking charge of a proposal. Over half (59%) of men said they shouldn’t be the only ones to propose and 80% said they would accept a proposal from their beloved.

Oh. And while diamonds might not be a guy’s best friend, there are plenty of other things (a new HDTV never hurts) that can serve as a suitable gift when you’re doing the asking. [Lovetripper]
