Retiring Gracefully

Retiring Gracefully

So much of what we talk about when we discuss retirement planning is related to saving money and thinking through eventual health issues. But retirement is also about making life everything that you want it to be!

A great role model for a healthy retirement lifestyle is actor Jamie Lee Curtis, featured on the cover of this month’s AARP magazine. While Curtis isn’t quite ready for her final bow just yet, she’s a great picture of what it is to embrace change in life and find ways to pursue your dreams as you get older. She is committed to aging naturally and gracefully (practically a sin in Hollywood) and spends her days exercising, writing children’s books and spending time with her kids.

Retirement is about rediscovery—this is a time to remember who you are and what’s important to you. How do you truly want to spend these years? [AARP]
