Question:Have you ever moved to a new place on a whim?

I tend to enjoy most places I visit, no matter how small of a town or big of a city. Every time I'm anywhere, I think, "Wow, I could live here." I never up and go though. Have you made a really sudden move? How did it go?

Answer:

I moved on a "planned whim," if that makes any sense. It's turned out great so far. Now I feel like it's better to take the chance instead of hanging around and wondering what it would be like to live in another place...

Answer:

My move to NYC was a bit of a whim. I decided to move, found an apartment and started school within a month's time. It was great, scary and exciting. And I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.

My thought at the time was "I can always move back." Really, its true. No move is permanent. I say go for it!
