Selling Out

Selling Out

Some moves will require moving out of an apartment rental and looking for the next one in whatever city your travels take you. For others, there is the challenge of selling a house before moving on; months or even years can pass before a taker comes along, so it’s best to have some tips at hand for this undertaking.

Unclutterer links to 25 of them, all short and to the point. The very beginning of the selling process should involve “preparing yourself,” meaning believing this is no longer your home, but an item you need to market to others and eventually sell. It sounds harsh, but it will aid you in the moving-out process. Start separating yourself emotionally from the house and embark on cleaning and fixing with this depersonalized attitude.
