Very interesting, butterflygirl. That really makes you wonder just HOW healthy cabbage is, huh? I laughed when I saw #1 ... I always try to avoid beets (they just never really appealed to me), but now I really may just have to give in! (:

Lilliede81 -- I haven't flown a kite in so long! That sounds like fun. I love to people watch, too. And if I can do it while sitting on a nicely-shaded bench (with a bit of sunshine peeking through) and reading a good book, then that sounds like a deal to me!

Dadeeyo189, I love Fiber One Oats and Honey, too! Ooo... and I have also recently tried All Bran Strawberry Fields. Very good!

I agree, Kiki76. I find that, sometimes, if I just drink a big glass of water, my "hunger" goes away. I think that we often just eat or feel hunger pangs because we are bored. I also try chewing a piece of sugar-free gum -- just getting my mouth moving (in a low-calorie way!) seems to help.

Great tip, jokelyne! I love water with lemon ... it's so refreshing and it does make you feel like you are flushing yucky toxins out of your body!

I was a little confused by this too. But I was thinking that, perhaps, they are allowing Japanese women and men to have a bigger waist because of the fact that they are shorter. Maybe their bigger waist size is not considered as unhealthy as it would be for the average (and most likely taller) American woman or man. (??) Just a thought ... who knows if I am right! (:

Great tip VBianchini! Thanks for teaching us how to make beets yummy! (:
