learning to appreciate myself for what I already am, and giving myself credit for the changes I've already experienced, so that I could continue to change/grow while minimizing my doubts.
The best change I've ever made:
acting upon the fact that my independence meant more to me than security.
The worst change I've ever made:
curtailing my relationship with my mother, despite her habits.
The hardest change I've ever made:
walking away from a perfect relationship because I didn't have the emotional bandwidth to support it at the time; not realizing I may have closed that door forever.
One thing I'd change in the world:
doubt.
My best friend's one-word description of me:
honest.
I'm really good at:
throwing myself into work when I'm upset about other things; I just dive into the things I can control when another area of my life falls "out of my hands."
My favorite person:
Kimberly, my best friend.
My favorite guilty pleasure:
Coke Zero. Chick-fil-a is the only place to get it, other than a gas station!
My favorite quote:
"The Grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for." (Allan K. Chalmers)
"Now faith is being sure of what you hope for, and certain of what you do not see." (Hebrews 11:1)
