Norman Kaplan, M.D.

Kaplan is a clinical professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he has been on the faculty for more than forty years. His textbook, Kaplan’s Clinical Hypertension, was published in its ninth edition in 2006. Among Kaplan’s many accomplishments, he is a recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Heart Association’s Council for High Blood Pressure Research.
