"Ever since I subscribed to your site the daily reminders are the only thing I read apart from email and the NY Times headlines and weather. I am hugely critical of most self-help information, but this is not what your site is. I save 1 in 2 of these and have kept a library folder. They are intelligent, concise, relevant and are pitched at exactly the right level." -Martin Chalk, CEO, Balance Water

Problems in Bed Could Mean Problems in the Heart

Some of the risk factors for coronary heart disease are obvious, like obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol, but some are less apparent. Recent studies show that erectile dysfunction in men with diabetes (also known as impotence and a wide variety of colorful street names) is another one. Even after researchers adjusted for other risk factors such as age, duration of diabetes and blood pressure medications, erectile dysfunction was still a risk factor for heart disease.

The study has only been conducted on Chinese men and the results could be different if applied to other ethnicity groups. But if the plumbing suddenly stops working, consider a visit to the doc for a physical—no matter what your background.
