Everyone Experiences Change

Icon_tip_1

Everyone experiences change—it may be starting a new job, going through a breakup, handling a health diagnosis or a change that you’ve been considering for years. Whatever change you’re going through, remember that change happens everyday, to everyone. There are over six billion people in the world but, as the one constant in life, change connects us all.

Whether life has thrown a change at you or you’ve initiated one for yourself, it’s common to find change hard. We often feel alone when going through change, because nobody has ever taught us how to move through it.

Understanding the role that change plays in your life—acknowledging that it’s a good thing and will lead you to a brighter future—will help you fear it less. It will also teach you to embrace both the changes that come to you and the changes you want or need to make with hope and optimism.

Today, ask your family and friends what they consider to be their biggest life change and be sure to find out what they learned from it. Their answers will probably surprise and inspire you, and maybe even make your change easier!

I have just moved to the country...cows, horses and the like! I'm excited about it and really like the atmosphere but I'm afraid that I'm a city girl at heart. I'm trying to open my mind and heart to the newness of it all.
