Everyday Change

Who Cares If It Turns Out Right?

Everyday_change_50x50
Unless you're building a skyscraper or fixing a brain, there's room for error in your work. Sometimes, not forcing greatness/perfection leads to bigger and better ideas. So let go of whether a project is "right," and just let it be what it'll be.
"Ever since I subscribed to your site the daily reminders are the only thing I read apart from email and the NY Times headlines and weather. I am hugely critical of most self-help information, but this is not what your site is. I save 1 in 2 of these and have kept a library folder. They are intelligent, concise, relevant and are pitched at exactly the right level." -Martin Chalk, CEO, Balance Water

I don't know where inspiration comes from but it is nourished by laughter and Mark Twain is good for that.
The one which sums up everything for me is from C.S.Lewis: God wants me to think, 'What am I going to do?' The Devil wants me to think, 'What's gonna happen to me?'

If it is not your responsibility - you have no opinion!!

VictoriaB

I have so many favorites. Last night the Wizard of Oz was on and there were two that are my favorites. Both spoken by the Wizard to the Tin Man.
1. The heart will never be made practical until it can be made unbreakable.

2. A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others.

"The world has not promised anything to anyone."
-Moroccan proverb

It sounds dark, but it's humbling and motivating for me.

This is my favorite:

"Leap and the net will appear." John Burroughs

It helps me forge ahead even when I'm scared or feel like giving up.
