How can I believe that there is life everlasting? Whether there is or not I just want to BELIEVE.
My Father passed away almost two years ago and I am still having a hard time accepting it. I'm not SURE there is "life everlasting". If he is in heaven then why doesn't he give me a sign that he's OK? My husband is positive that the here and now is just a big waiting room and there's even better things to come. I WANT to believe but I don't know how. I feel that if I could just be sure in my heart I would be better able to let go of the past because I'd know that someday I would see him again..... Where do I begin and how can I learn to believe?
It is indeed time to let go of the past, to move on in your life. Would your dad want you to stay stuck where you now are?
You want to believe that you'll see your dad again. You say, "I want to believe," so Let Go Of The Concept, "but I don't know how."
Open yourself to the posibility that your dad will let you know; that you will hear one of his favorite songs on the radio, hear his words in your mind, perhaps smell the scent of a flower where there it shouldn't be, see a vividly marked butterfly fluttering around, sense a feeling that someone is standing beside or behind you and when you turn, there is no one in a physical body there, or even feel a cool breeze gently brush your cheek.
Just be open to recognize the sign when it comes. And let us know how you are doing.
you May and May not get a sign from your loved one its in their time. I asked my dad who passed away not too long ago to give me some sort of sign that he is still near by he gave me the gift of being able to drive which he knew how much I wanted to learn how to be more indapendent and do the things that would give me some freedom . keep asking for a sign and remember its in their time not ours. be patent .
