Remember the saying "Slow and steady wins the race?" Turns out it's true. Slow down at work, with your partner and just in general. You may be surprised at how much sweeter life is when you aren't looking at it at warp speed.

High fructose what?

letitgo

I know I should really cut down on all sugars, but some are worse than others and many blame the obesity epidemic on the increasing presence of high fructose corn syrup in processed foods and beverages.

Read the ingredient labels when you pick up a beverage and opt for drinks not sweetened with high fructose corn syrup.

I gave up corn syrup and table sugar for a year - this past September, I started in again, albeit slowly, and tonight I just "pigged out"! I felt soo much healthier off the sugar! I recommend you go "cold turkey". I'm going to try thto go my old route again tomorrow - last time, it took me 4 days of lots of stress to beat the sugar habit. Wish me luck!
