Clean Out the Medicine Cabinet!

A new study shows that cold meds not only don’t work for young children but they may actually cause serious harm. And it seems the word isn’t getting through to some parents. Since many of these products have been on the market for years, people assume if they used them as kids, then they must be safe. Not so, say the experts, and since these medicines don’t even get rid of the cold (they just mask the symptoms) it's important to take an extra careful look at what you have in the medicine cabinet and throw some things away.
