what's more important to you... physical attraction or a feeling of security?

Speaking as someone who always went with the attraction piece and failed to find a true friend, I have to say that being with someone who loves and respects me and someone I can speaking honestly and confide my thoughts, hopes and fears to is so much better than being with someone I'm attracted to who treats me like doo doo, if you know what I mean.
Look past the butterflies... a long lasting feeling of mutual concern and respect is worth its weight in gold ... and we all know how much gold is worth these days ...
