No Sex? Who Cares!
If your sex life has been lacking lately, have you visited your doctor and ruled out any medical conditions that could be the culprit?
It might seem obvious, but almost 50% of women have some sort of sexual problem, according to a recent study in the November issues of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Of the more than 32,000 women ages 18 to 65 who were surveyed, 43% reported some type of sex problem, 39% reported a decrease in sexual desire, 26% reported arousal problems and 21% reported problems achieving orgasm.
Surprisingly, only 12% reported significant personal distress associated with their sexual disorder.
Your sex life should always been fun and enjoyable. If it’s not, your very first stop should be to your primary care physician. Get over your embarrassment and talk to your doctor about improving your sex life. Your doctor is a professional and wants you to be healthy in all areas of your mind and body.
