Who Cares If It Turns Out Right?

Unless you're building a skyscraper or fixing a brain, there's room for error in your work. Sometimes, not forcing greatness/perfection leads to bigger and better ideas. So let go of whether a project is "right," and just let it be what it'll be.

CASH

runnindownadream

Recently I started going to the ATM and withdrawing the cash equivalent of what I have budgeted out for the week. I can't believe what a difference it has made. There's something about seeing the physical cash leaving my hands that makes me much more hesitant to spend it.

This is called the envelope system and it's been a simple budgetary tool for folks starting out on a budget. I do use both cash and my debit card but I keep a checkbook register and have an envelope that holds my receipts for the week. This has been also useful if I need to return something.

True, but you have to deal with change. I prefer to use my debit card.
