Question:Do you believe in angels?

I sometimes think I must have someone watching over me, keeping me safe.

I lost my mom to heart disease almost 2 months ago - she believed in angels and prayed the rosary all the time - however I have a hard time praying ... what is wrong with me? I do know she is in a better place and is not in pain anymore, that alone helps me but still...

Answer:

Yes! I absolutely believe that I have people watching over me and keeping me safe. I find a lot of comfort in that thought, especially when I have lost someone that I love. Although I would rather have them here with me, I find comfort in knowing that their spirit is around me and that they're watching over me.

I am only 12 days out from my soul mate being killed in Afghanistan, but the first night after receiving the news I sat on my mom's back porch and looked up at the stars, something he and I used to do frequently. I saw this shooting star, bright as day, so close that I could have touched it, right above my head. I believe that he is here watching over me, and no one can convince me otherwise...
