Take Some Sunday Time ... To Organize Your Life!

carolineshannon

Experts say the best time to get organized for the week is Sunday -- duh! The beginning of the week is a great time to kick off a new exercise habit or finally organize your bedroom. Doing so helps to get you prepared for the rest of the week and leaves you much more able to follow through with goals and plans.

I am always sure to organize my day planner and prepare food items, like fruit or other snacks to munch on, on Sunday. It is a great way to wake up on Monday morning -- you don't have to feel so rushed!!

How much time do you spend on Sunday getting ready for the week? What do you do?

I always know I should do this, but knowing and doing are two different things. However, today after reading your tip while enjoying my Sunday morning coffee and jazz music got motivated -now, my Monday will be much less chaotic!

I work at 'prepping' for the week off and on all day on Sunday. My first focus is on clothing, I want to make sure everyone has at least 5 laundered, and in good repair, outfits. Eliminating the hunt for the missing sock from our morning routine has been gratifying! As the snow flies today, I am reminded to be sure mittens/gloves and boots are in pairs. Make sure your ice/snow scrapers are actually in the vehicles. Mine was in the sandbox.
