You've Got NO Mail

You've Got NO Mail

A normal day for most probably involves receiving and replying to many, many emails. Whether it's a work requirement, a family obligation, or one too many "newsletters" or advertisements, the emails never cease, challenging us to stay organized all the time. It feels unreasonable to expect then that an empty inbox could ever stare back at you, doesn't it?

It may seem impossible, but we promise, people have done it and there are screenshots to prove it: Zero emails in that pesky inbox! "Inbox Victory" is the online place to celebrate such sweet satisfaction at accomplishing what few can. Anyone can post such a screenshot of themselves pointing to the digital emptiness, or "defeated foe" as the site puts it.

Keep in mind that an email-less inbox does not necessarily mean organization has been mastered; most likely, the emails are sorted in folders, some of them unanswered or flagged for the future. Nonetheless, it's still a success to properly sort through them all! In your plans to get organized, how do you approach the potentially chaotic inbox? [Free Art & Technology]

I got a bit worried when I arrived at work after a long weekend and had NO MAIL. And I have TWO work email addresses, one for government (I'm a contractor) and one for my company. I wondered if I'd lost my job. I was quite relieved to get some fluff piece about cleaning out the microwave on Friday :-)

Skim read. If the e-mail doesn't catch me in the first word it's DELETE!
