De-clutter with Your Computer

Your entire schedule for the day is mapped out—including who’s shirt you need to wash this evening for a special presentation tomorrow, what’s for dinner and more importantly, who you are supposed to have meetings with this afternoon. It would all be perfect, if you hadn’t left your planner at home.

Online management takes the personal planner one step further. It’s available whenever you are within arm’s reach of a computer and you don’t need to remember to take it with you. Sites provide virtual space for your endless lists of task, like the Zoho Planner that allows you to have reminders, create to-do lists, store notes and also files and images. SimpleGTD—or Getting Things Done—is a free web-based tool that helps you keep track of your projects and to-dos before they become scattered on Post-It notes across your desk.

Cozi allows you to update your schedule via your cell phone. Simplify assigning chores with ChoreBuster, which creates a schedule based on difficulty and how often it needs to be done—and the plan is sent conveniently to each individual’s email.

Not ready to rely on the web for keeping tabs on your precious engagements? There’s nothing wrong with doing it the old-fashioned way of staying organized, just remember to create a duplicate or always have your lists with you.
