Remember the saying "Slow and steady wins the race?" Turns out it's true. Slow down at work, with your partner and just in general. You may be surprised at how much sweeter life is when you aren't looking at it at warp speed.

Bike Riding

lonewolf

I took this up after my Naturopath said I wasn't getting enough exercise it really took some time to get my fitness and endurance to an acceptable standard, but it also a good stress release.

1/ One hours bike ride is as good on a mild hilly route as it is on a longger flat ride.

2/ Bordom can be over come by changing routes every season.

3/ Some better bike shops have books available on new routes in your local area that can alleviate boredom of the same route.

4/ Good music playing makes the ride even better.

5/ The ride is more fun when the ride ends at a decent cafe.

I think bike riding is a near perfect exercise. I agree with all your points. I like being outdoors and it has the double advantage of being a good way to get around and do small errands (especially if you have a basket or bring a knapsack)

Thanks for sharing that wisdom!
