I've recently had to get rid of most of my things due to a household infestation. It was rough but taught a valuable lesson. My worth isn't in my possessions—and now I have a chance to start new, with very little! And, when I do need to buy some new things (like a bed) I'll be more frugal with my choices.
If anyone has advice on furnishing frugally, I'm all ears!

That is a great lesson. I'm finally realizing after years that my worth isn't my possessions as well. Unfortunately I'm learning the hard way!
