Is There a Job Out There for a Zero Gravity Thinker?
I am an Apple alumnus and Silicon Veteran. I'm have a highly multi-disciplinary skillset. I'm equally adept at design and technology. Daniel Pink calls it a whole new mind. Cynthia Barton Rabe and her team at Zero-G call it "Zero Gravity Thinking". However in the job market I am perceived as not fitting into any of the boxes in industry. I am very, very frustrated with the incredibly rigid thinking and complete lack of acceptance of my skills.
Can someone please point me to some companies that understand and value those of us that haven't spent our life living (and slowly dying) in a box?
I was reading about Daniel Pink's book and I love the idea of moving into a conceptual age. I'm hoping it's going to be coming along before I have to retire : )
I did some googling and found a blogger who talked about a company that is practicing the philosophy. Here's a link to their web site:
Their tagline says they help organizations innovate through design.
