Recession-Proof Dream Jobs

If you want to pursue your dream job, but you’re worried the economic climate isn’t the greatest, you might take comfort in knowing that some dream jobs will always be in high demand no matter what happens to the markets.
 
According to global outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas, you might not want to do a complete career 180 right now, but if your dream job is in one of five “recession-proof” industries, you will have plenty of opportunities to reach your goal. The five industries are education, energy, environmental sector, health care and security.
 
You also don’t have to have skills that are specific to these industries to work in them. For example, if you want to work in education but you don’t have a teaching degree, you can always get an administrative job while you complete your certifications.
