October is National Book Month. Commit to reading just one book by choosing a title off the New York Times Bestseller list, or one of those "100 Best" lists floating around. After you finish the first book, see if you aren't begging for more!

I've heard it said that if you really want to meet the love of your life, you have to be willing to set your geographic parameters a bit farther. If you're looking for that special someone to spend the rest of your life with, it might be worth a cross country or cross continent romance.
