Does it bother you to have to pay to join a dating site?
As if I didn't already feel like a sad sack, the idea of having to pay to meet someone really depresses me.

Yes, it absolutely does. I heard about a dating site where people can meet athletic singles, but you would have to pay a fee for however many months you chose to use the site. To me, paying to meet someone is too much like a call-girl service, for lack of better words.
