Social networks and dating sites. Do they seem very different to you?
I'm seeing sites popping up these days that are connecting people around similar interests. Some of these sites have fallen into the idea that they should expand their tools to make it possible for people to get to know each other online and then make plans to meet offline.
This sure sounds like online dating to me ... maybe even better given how you find each other in the first place -- around conversation and shared interests.
