not only natural light - but rain too!

I'll never forget my first realtor taking us to look at homes on the worst days - cold and pouring rain - he said those are the most telling - does the basement leak?  Is it drafty?  How does the heating system work. . . I think everyone likes to look at homes in their best, but buyer beware - go when things aren't so great - and wear your rain boots! ; )
