"I was actually waiting for your book to come out at Barnes and Noble, and reserved it two weeks before it came out. I told my therapist about it and your web site and how you made a positive impact on me." -M

Inspecting for natural light

OliviaF

When buying a home it's always a good idea to visit at a number of different times during the day to see how much natural light the home gets everyday.

This will help you in a number of ways. If you're someone who loves/wants/needs lots of light, you'll see how much light the house gets. It will help you with planning for how you will use your rooms ... if you like a sunny bedroom you'll want to know which rooms face east. If you're going to plant a flower or vegetable garden, you'll want to know which part of the property gets the most sunshine and which parts are protected from wind or which parts are in shade.
