Question:Is the property market good anywhere?

I've just moved but I'm not tied to my town. I'm really interested in being a property owner, and the market is really horrible here. Are there places where it's still good to buy?

Answer:

Hi Lourdes542,
I am a Realtor in California, and the market is really terrible here, or wonderful, depending on if you are a buyer or a seller! It is definitely a buyers market, and if you are a first time buyer, there are many programs out there to help you get into a home, such as FHA loans, FHA 203K loans (your loan plus money to fix up a property) and HLPR loans from credit union.s. I would advise you to get in touch with a Realtor in your area and find out if you can qualify. I am with Century 21 and we have a referral service anywhere in the country. I would be happy to get a referral for you if you would like. They will match you up with an experienced agent in your town. No obligation.
