I meet a man that just lost his wife 5 monthes ago to a accident.when we meet it was love at first sight for both of us. Things moved very fast although we are 600 hundred miles apart we have been together twice he was to arrive in my home town and at the last moment backed out now he will not return my phone calls i have emailed him and told him I understand it was to soon for him to start a relationship and i really would love to be friends and be there for him. I m really in love with this man and want to be there for him. any advice at this point would help.

I'm sorry to hear that he stopped talking to you. I think at this point the best thing you can do is be patient with him, and realize that at this point in his life there could be a million reasons why he's had a sudden change of heart and they probably don't have anything to do with you. Five months is definitely a short amount of time when it comes to such a big loss and he's probably going through a whole rollercoaster of emotions. Keep your head up and focus on all of the great things in your life. If and when he comes back he'll appreciate your understanding.
