Three evenings ago marked the end of a three year journey that I will always cherish and treasure. There are times when people part ways...not because they are horrible...but just because it's time for the journey to end. We are both musicians that play in a brass quintet and a brass band together and frequently play gigs together. The quintet is a very intimate setting. Thankfully we have two weeks off of rehearsing. Do any of you have any advice of working closely with someone you still love deeply but know that it's the end? I can't even look at him right now without it crushing me.
