What I really want to do is help people to feel better about themselves and do things to improve their lives.

I have two big ideas:
1. Time Management for the Chronically Disorganized
2. Helping people overcome low self esteem

I am currently doing this on a small scale helping people with these issues through an on-line social networking site where I help people for free.

I have two big problems:

1. This is not the kind of work that I initially trained in, that was engineering. I have developed my knowledge through reading and discussing on-line. And my experience of helping people so far is only on-line.

2. I have no idea about how to make money out of helping people in this way, I mean I would happily do this for free if I had money to live on.

Any ideas please?

I love this. I'm staring my own business and have found the small-medium sized business community to be a wonderful, supportive and very giving place. It's only been a couple of months, but I already feel like I've learned so much about myself. What an incredible journey! #5 is incredibly true and important to remember. An entrepreneur gave me a nugget of advice last week, he said "Ignore what everyone else says. People won't understand what you're doing and why you're doing it. Just ignore it and keep believing in yourself and your idea."
