The African Dr Phil?

Chris Abani is an amazing human being. He was imprisoned three times by the Nigerian government and was even held on death row after being sentenced to death for treason. Now he is free and spreading a message of hope and inspiration. (And he is funny too!)

With all the horrors that he has witnessed in Africa and elsewhere, he says “the world can be saved by small daily acts of compassion” and that sometimes “a simple act from a complete stranger can unstitch your heart.” The world needs to know more about this man. He has the energy of a leader who can inspire change. Go to his web site, Chrisabani.com, to learn more about his life and to get inspired.
