Define your character
I spend time thinking about what I want my character to include (happy, honest, kind). I am not sure character is as important to the public today as it once was (my grandparents always mentioned these elements when describing people in a story), but when I place some accountiblity on my character and do a good job in one area -- I'm happy with myself.
