They had a baby and we lost our friends

My husband and I raised our kid when we were really young. We have friends who waited to have children and now we have fallen off of the contact list as soon as they found out the baby was on the way. These are the same friends that rolled their eyes at us years ago when our nightime plans were limited due to babysitting issues. Now the kid we had in our youth is going to college next year and the tables have turned. We are available and our friends are locked in their houses with toddlers. What to do? We like our friends...so finding others seems a bit.disposable. But they seem so worn out with the business of day to day baby business.
