Hush, Little E-Baby

Hush, Little E-Baby

Most of us have jumped on the eBay bandwagon at one point or another and bid for cheap designer goods, books, electronics...you name it! You can find virtually anything on eBay as long as the search terms permit it...

So what happens when new parents, whether sleep deprived or just feeling naughty put their child on eBay for adoption because he's "gotten too loud..." While the ad might even seem funny to some, and we like to assume it was a joke, the German parents were taken into custody and the child removed from the home. While the child and parents were reunited as it became clear the parents meant no harm, it's clear that the wide, wide world of the web is no place to sell your kid, even in jest.

What do you think of the situation? We think whoever reported the ad was correct to take it off, but do you think questioning the parents on possible child trafficking charges was a bit too much? Or do they deserve harsh punishment?
