Dude...the Word is Man Bag.

For many dads, it’s not the actual changing of the diapers that is so revolting–it’s having to carry around one of those girly diaper bags. Well, how about getting your own diaper bag, a real manly one, and then filling it with daddy-type items?

If you look online, you can find messenger bags that are pretty masculine (relax- you won’t look like Joey when he was convinced that a purse was a “man bag”.) However, these bags can often get pretty expensive. Andrew Jones, editor of a great web site for dads called NonToxicReviews.com (“the Daddy blog that makes the Mommy blogs cringe,” according to Jones), has a great instructional video on how to take a simple, inexpensive bag from the army/navy surplus store, and transform it into a daddy diaper bag.

If, once you have your manly bag, you need help in deciding what to put in it, check out  this advice from real dads at Daddytypes.com. One dad discloses the extensive list of items that have accumulated in his diaper bag in the last 10 months.

Do you already have a daddy diaper bag, or do you just borrow your wife’s (and try to not let your friends see you carrying it?) If you do have your own bag, what does it look like, and what do you have in it?
