Be careful of your dream
I quit my job of 11 years as a Travel Agency Manager and moved to Mexico.. My dream. The first year was terrific. I bought a laundry and my business partner ran away.. That changed turned out to be for the best and I accepted it. Now after 3 plus years, I desparetly want to move home to Oregon. I have 3 children from Haiti and miss them very much. One son was tradgically paralyzed, but he is such an inspiration to me. I have been working on myself daily with positive reinforcements etc. and have set a goal to be home by April. There are many obstacles and I have accomplished some of them. I am extremely lonely which shadows my energy to change. Please help.

Hi- thanks for writing to us. You are a brave and courageous soul! Do you know how few people ever pursue their dream, ever 'get on the court'- most of us speak about it. Now you know. You did it. You are a success no matter what in the club of dreams. Sometimes the reason you do something isnt the reason you originally thought. I am sure a lot of positive has also come from this decision. YOu've learnt things about yourself, others...lots more i am assuming.
As far as today goes, just ask yourself
where are you now? and where do you want to be?
Other than having children, any decision you made is reversible!
you can of course flex that strong change muscle of yours and be home again.
There is a reason to why all of this is happening. Sometimes life wont give us that reason when we want it...
Couple of tips in the meantime
-take care of yourself physcially. Thats number 1. Sleep, Eat well, Exercise, and Drink a lot of water. When we are in the midst of difficult changes, our health goes out the window. Coming back into balance emotionally often starts with being gentle and kind with ourselves physically. Thats under your control
-Start writing, journaling, just get all your thoughts, lessons, questions down on paper and out of your head. The mind makes us very fearful. Empty that out.
YOu will see that you can detach, just watch what your mind is feeding you....it will pass through.
All is well and in divine order.
