Women's hair loss
I turned 50 this year, and actually glad, but also seem to notice my hair thinning. Don't want to do Rogaine for the rest of my (hopefully long) life. Have done research on the web, so have started doing 15 minutes of scalp massage twice a day, was wondering of any other in-expensive home remedies that I could also try.

My doctor suggested taking Biotin. It's an inexpensive supplement available at all drug stores and large discount stores. I'm a 44 year old woman and struggle with thinning hair as well. I would love any advice anyone has to this distressing problem as well.
Hi...here are a few tips.
Hair loss is very closely related to nutrition. Add much more raw foods- they have enzymes in them. Salads, avocados, fruit, any green vegetables.
If you are brave, start taking some wheatgrass- the ultimate miracle food.
Drink at least twice the amount of water you are used to- dry scalp and hair loss is often a sign of dehydration in the body- 90% of people dont drink enough water so dont worry, we are all in this together.
No more alcohol, that causes acidity as well which can lead to hair loss.
Careful what shampoo you use- only use organic ingredients, def worth it- no chemicals whatsoever
Hope that helps.
Happy 50th!
