how I got here
After 24 years as a long-term nurse, I dislocated my shoulder for the 5th time. I am now in a new neighborhood, (lost the house) and in the limbo of awaiting my disability hearing. I just started physical therapy again for tendonitis in my "good" arm. The moving just about did me in. Yet, I am writing two books, singing in the choir at church, and my hubby still loves me! When I can hold a paintbrush, I paint flowers and butterflies on anything and everything!

I just read your story and noticed that you replied to mine. I too am a long term care nurse. My medical issue is a herniated disc in my back that I have been dealing with for 2 years. I also have clinical depression. Your story is inspirational! I am trying hard to find joy again and am slowly getting out of my mental fog. I am fortunate to still have my home and my hubby still loves me also. Thanks for your story. Keep in touch.
you are a goddess....stay true to who you are, go for where the joy is....do what you love. The world needs more people like you, thanks for sharing and inspiring others. From any change/situation, something good will come. we love your husband too...let him know that.
keep in touch,
Ariane
