Congratulations on your new venture! But, let me take a step back and applaud you on your courage in letting go of your former bad situation. "Freedom begins in the lungs," said the poet Merritt Malloy, and your first step to creating a better worklife for you was the one you took when you quit your old one five months ago. Life is short. Glad to see you enjoying your journey!

The one thing I found helpful in the midst of my storms was to Pray. The moment I believed in Prayer, things began to change immediately. I started listening to my inner voice and so far it hasn't let me down. I noticed when I listen to it, I always see or feel the results of doing so in a positive way.

I use to live my life second guessing myself and beating myself up for making decisions that others didn't approve of, but at the end of the day it's about me.

Congratulations! I just read your first story last night and posted a comment. I am currently employed but I may have to end my career due to health reasons on the advice of my doctor. I am scared about the uncertainty of my situation. I hope I can have the same attitude as you have and things will work out. Thanks again for posting your story.
