Crate training your dog

bstarr

When I first read about crate training I thought it was cruel, but when I had a dog the vet recommended we crate train and I have to say that my dog really liked to go in his crate. The key is that you don't put them in their crate as punishment. Going in the crate should always be associated with something pleasant and while you might not want to put food or water in the crate it is nice to make it soft and warm for your pet friend with a blanket and some toys.
