I don't know all that much about this subject, but what I've been told is that as soon as you hold the child in your arms, you suddenly know what to do. My guess is that if you're trying to adopt and bring a child into your life and your family (and you have normal concerns), you're probably not unlike many that have gone before you and you will be just fine.

Clearly, you care. A child should sense that and respond. I wish you all the best.
